Pssst.. Can I let you in on a secret? Running your business is hard work (and you’re rocking it!) but it should also be rewarding! Don’t let the
business-y side of things hold you back
from finding fulfillment in your creative role.
Whether you've come here covered up to your elbows in paint, or are combing out that wind blown hair from the last wedding you captured...
You've dreamt of building a profitable business around creative freedom but… Instagram makes that life seem a heck of a lot easier than it is.
Am-I-right?
There doesn’t seem to be enough hours
in the day to...
And we both know that's just the tip of the iceberg.
I hear you friend.
My goal is to ensure that you make the most of your time all while pursuing the life that lights you up.
To tell brand stories through clear messaging and more importantly to make marketing a manageable as well as an enjoyable experience.
Pencil-in-hand and a barefoot by the creek kinda girl...I’ve never been one for anything less than a great adventure and an even better tale. Should have known from the start the 9-5 game just wasn't my domain.
But this girl never had a lemonade stand. Nope, no desire to pursue an entrepreneurial path, at least not a conscious one.
Society had ingrained in me early on that art in any form wasn't exactly a sustainable career. (Yup I got that spiel too).
When I stumbled into digital marketing-thanks to a life changing guest speaker- I realized I could fuel my passions for creative psychology, writing, and storytelling in one fell swoop. The plan was to invest myself in the thick of the industry and ultimately come out a corporate superstar.
BUT...
amidst a few messy moments of doubt, life threw me a handful of opportunities.
Freelance content writer, website and user experience researcher for the restaurant industry, a place among PA’s top 5 businesses in their annual shark-tank-style competition just to name a few.
All the while I was working to build my own business on the sidelines (did I mention I caught the entrepreneurial bug?)
4 years into my formal and self-taught education I decided to use my word witch powers for good!
I finally launched AMS
2 years later, here I am...determined to slay the
profitable-artist-naysayers
(cue LOTR battle scene music).
A GOOD BOOK
I know. No one is surprised. But the idea of wrapping myself up in a cozy blanket and falling through the pages to an endless world beyond..well that sounds like the perfect evening to me.
